Let us think about tomorrow.

So you can enjoy the best of today.

Live today’s life in retirement

To always have the things in life you and your family love, it’s important to plan now.
Here are just a few things worth thinking about today to help you get started.

There are countless stats around retirement. But a good guide is The Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia’s (ASFA) estimate for singles and couples. While everyone’s goals are different, it’s an average that should give you an idea on how much you may need and how to manage your investments to get there.

Singles need from $24,270 - $43,695 p.a. for a modest to comfortable retirement, while couples will need $34,911 - $60,063¹.

How much does a comfortable retirement cost?

It all comes down to what you want.

Look at the things you have today that you’d like in retirement like dining out, movies, holidays and even birthday and Christmas presents for loved ones. Then write down how much they’d roughly cost each year and add them up.

Then consider everyday items, bills and expenses. Looking at the last three months’ bank statements will give you a good idea of how much things will cost.
