MLC advice network again rated #1 by customers

For the third year in a row, customers have rated an MLC advice network as Australia’s leading financial advice group.

Based on mystery shopper research by CoreData, the award recognises the quality of customers’ experiences when seeking a financial adviser. This year, 450 advisers from 18 Licensees were rated on the way they worked with customers, as well as their ability to provide effective advice.

MLC’s Apogee Financial Planning was announced the overall winner of CoreData’s Major Financial Advice Group award for 2009 and MLC/Garvan Financial Planning was Commended. These results reflect our advisers’ ability to:

• use their expertise and knowledge to help customers meet their needs
• provide relevant and effective advice, and
• demonstrate the benefits of taking action.

In fact, MLC’s advice networks are the only groups to have won the award since its inception three years ago, with MLC/Garvan winning in 2007 and 2008.
