MLC and Lifeline urge Australians to StressDown on 24/7

As part of MLC's new community partnership with Lifeline, we are joining forces to deliver the message of relaxation on Thursday 24 July.

StressDown 24/7 was conceived in acknowledgement that we all experience stress in our everyday lives: financial pressures, relationships stress, stress in the workplace.

On Thursday 24 July, do something fun with your co-workers, friends or family to reduce your stress levels and raise funds for Lifeline.

Some of the activities MLC and other supporters will be taking part in include:

  • Holding a 'Dress Down', casual or theme day (such as wearing PJs or slippers to work)
  • Hosting a social or team-building event (such as a picnic)
  • Organising a 'Stress Down Zone' in your workplace, such as engaging the services of a massage therapist or yoga instructor

The money raised will go towards covering growing costs for Lifeline's 24 hour telephone counseling line – 13 11 14.

Your support will help Lifeline to continue providing services for anyone needing emotional support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
