FAQs

How much does the course cost? Can I pay the fee in instalments?
The course costs $3,750 including GST, which includes all study materials, face-to-face workshops and webinars. If you’d like to pay the fee in instalments, we’re happy to arrange this for you; please call us to discuss your situation in more detail.
I’ve already started my advice business but it’s early days and I think I’d benefit from some guidance. Is it worth enrolling?
The course will be most relevant if you’re about to start your own business, as there are some topics which specifically relate to business set up. However, you’ll find the course valuable even if you’ve recently established your business, as we’ll cover topics such as attracting new clients, business planning and people management. Read the course content for more information.
Do I have to join an MLC Licensee when I graduate?
No. If you want to proceed with starting your own business, you have the choice to join an MLC Licensee, operate under your own brand or join an external Licensee. You’ll receive the same support and guidance from the Advice Business School regardless of what you choose. However, if you become licensed through MLC, you’ll also gain access to a Practice Development Manager who’ll help you project manage your business plan.
If I buy a client book through MLC, do I own the client servicing rights?
Yes, you'll own any client servicing rights you purchase through MLC.
