MLC Navigator Retirement Plan

The MLC Navigator Retirement Plan is part of a complete super and retirement service. It provides access to a wide range of wholesale investment alternatives managed by leading fund managers as well as a range of shares listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).

The MLC Navigator Retirement Plan is designed to enable the establishment of a diversified portfolio accessing the primary investment markets of cash, fixed interest, equities and property through the various investment strategies offered.

The super service enables the accumulation of retirement benefits while providing for payment of benefits in the event of death or disablement prior to retirement.

The MLC Navigator Retirement Plan also has a pension service which enables you to receive a regular pension upon retirement or while continuing to work after your preservation age.

What's more, MLC Navigator eReporting can make keeping track of your statements simple and environmentally-friendly.

Making Contributions

Contribution payments
There are three easy ways for you to forward contributions to your MLC Navigator Retirement Plan – Superannuation Service account:

  1. BPAY ®
  2. Cheque payment
  3. Electronic Funds Transfer

BPAY ®
This is the preferred payment method for fast allocation of contributions.

  • Contributions can be made via telephone or internet banking.
  • To use BPAY, the Biller Code for the BPAY account needs to be entered first

These codes are:

  • Second, the Customer Reference Number needs to be included. This is the contribution code plus your MLC Navigator BPAY Reference Number.
  • The contribution code entered depends on the contribution type as follows:

In summary, for a BPAY payment you would submit it as follows:
Biller Code: 514117
Customer Reference Number: Contribution code (see above) + MLC Navigator BPAY reference number

Your MLC Navigator BPAY Reference Number can be found:

  • on your account statement, or
  • by logging onto mlc.com.au and view personal information, or
  • calling Client Service on 1300 428 482

For Employers
To process your employees' super contributions please follow the instructions as above and send us the following information about the employees and the funds.

Information about each employee (investor) including:

  • employee name
  • MLC Navigator account number
  • employee date of birth
  • Superannuation Guarantee Contribution amount
  • other contribution amounts

To assist you in submitting this information, download our
Super Contributions spreadsheet.

Once completed please email the contribution details to us.

Cheque payment

If contributions are to be made by cheque, these must be made payable to MLC Navigator Retirement Plan – Superannuation Service.

In addition, an Additional/Regular Investment Form need to be completed.

In specie transfer guidelines

In specie refers to the process of transferring assets without actually selling the underlying investment product. This includes shares held directly in your name, units or shares in another portfolio administration services or from retail funds.

We accept in specie transfers into the MLC Navigator Retirement Plan.

What are the benefits?

  • removes the risks associated with time 'out of the market', and
  • further discounts available on the Navigator administrator fee (for higher balances, capping and account linking).
