Eligible customers and their immediate family1 now have access to a range of additional services exclusive to MLC. As well as the InterConsultation service, Best Doctors has developed the following:

If, after your InterConsultation you decide the best option is to go to an overseas specialist that's been identified by Best Doctors, then they will arrange everything for you, including:

  • coordinating all the necessary information with the medical specialists involved
  • continually monitoring the treatment process to make sure the medical priorities are met
  • helping with the hospital admittance process and medical appointments
  • arranging travel details, and helping with reservations and accommodation, and
  • ongoing support and information for you and your family members during the treatment process.

Please note: although Best Doctors arrange all these details for you, you'll need to pay the costs for medical services, travel, accommodation and any other associated costs.

When you need non emergency medical information, go to a doctor online and receive the answers you need – within 48 hours.

  • an Australian ´Best Doctors ´ doctor personally answering your questions
  • the ability to ask questions on behalf of your family members, eg your spouse or dependent children, and
  • questions and answers are stored in your personal member´s inbox.

Multimedia library

See how different conditions affect the way the body functions in amazingly detailed, full colour, 3D.

You can search an online library of 300 educational videos featuring realistic, 3D graphics that make it simple to understand what happens deep within the body.

Not only do the videos give an explanation of the condition, they also let you know about the tests and treatments available.

For example, you can learn how diabetes is controlled, what makes smoking addictive or how cancer cells affect the human organs and what effect certain treatments have on them.

The multimedia library also gives you access to a list of trusted medical websites that will enable you to find out more about a wide range of medical conditions and support groups.
